They held their hands, and began their journey,  made of faith, but filled with obscurity; making vows, never to let go; two different bodies, yet the same soul. Walking through, the phases of life,  locking their vision, in each others' eye; not wanting to stop, never wanting to give up,  when everything started to tear up. So far, yet so close to each other,  can never see each other suffer; going through the ups & downs; always together, the other way round. Reliving the moments they spent together, hoping for each other to smile forever;  making way through the worst of times,  knowing this would all end and everything will shine,  watching their love expand,  never letting go of each other's hands... ~ Guni Image source - Google Images

The rain fell from the heavens, appearing magically,  showing off its power with thunder; so gentle, yet so devastating,  closing the pool of sunlight, opening the oceans of thinking. Still falling, cleansing the trees, tripping from the leaves;  The gushing winds, making it feel like the stars falling, the lightning, as if the promised land is calling,  the water on the humanly land, merely crawling, memories from the past, my mind recalling.   The darkness, lighting up my mind, making it feel like heaven's sign; The droplets refreshing my soul,  wanting it to pour, for some time more, endless magic happening,  but in the end, the sky was blue again,  for it was just the rain falling... ~ Guni  (image source - Google Images)      

Still in love with the night the breeze passing me by, brushing my hair,  dampening my eye; The sky, bowl of stars, full of imaginations,  yet so void, fills my heart with joy; So dark, yet so diverse, makes me think, this is some other universe; The rustling leaves, the swaying trees, take me to an auspicious place, which gives my mind, the empty space; The moon, so simple,  yet so gorgeous, reflecting the light, well, that's so obvious; The silence,  giving me the peace, making me feel like, on the top of a peak; I'm Still in love with the night,  it reminds me of who I am, makes my mind light, helps me sleep alright. ~ Guni  image source - Google 

Some nights I just wanna cry, no matter how hard I try,  it just keeps hitting my mind... There are places to go,  yet I open the same door,  I look at our happier times,  lying on the floor... I remember the times,  when troubles seemed far,  but they now feel impossible to apart, never saw this coming from the stars... No matter what we face,  I'll never leave you in this place,  I'll crawl us out of this blue space,  it may take time, for this is not a race... If you ever get stuck in the sand,  I'll give you my hand,  for it will be always there for you,  it is something you always knew... Yes, m'love, alright everything will be,  just believe in us, you'll see, is there anything stronger, I would always deny,  than this bond between You & I... ~ Guni    (Image source - Google) 

Woke up from the noisy alarm, the birds chirping & squirrels making that sound,  the sunlight waiting at the window, waiting for me, for me to open it and let her in,  so it can make my room less dim;  so much light, yet everything feels so mild,  my body doing the daily chores,  while sitting alone is demanded by my soul. Another day has passed, staring at the light emitting box,  for that's the only way with you I can talk, fixating my eyes upon the 'sacred' text in my textbooks, sowing the seed, not knowing for what fruit. Another day has passed, strumming my guitar, humming our favourite hymn, gazing upon the stars, looking at your painting; savouring your love,  for that's more than enough. Another day has passed,  knowing you're beside me, still waiting for you to come, wanting to end this phase, so we can finally see each other's face... ~ Guni  Image source - Google

Whenever you feel like giving up,  look around you, you live in a world full of things which won't have existed if someone gave up. Take a look at the website you are on right now, what if the programmer who was programming this gave up after some unsuccessful tries? Take a look at your study table, what if the carpenter who made it gave up while he was learning how to make things? Or what if the person who designed it gave up when he was unable to have ideas for designing? Take a look at your phone, what if the company's founder decided to give up when his ideas were considered vague?  Take a look at your garden, what if the gardener had given up gardening when he was unable to make some flowers bloom? Take a look at the nest on a tree, what if the bird had given up when it's nest was attacked by other animals? Take a look at the ant who just got into the ant colony, what if it gave up when it was climbing the wall again & again and falling down each time? Take a look ...

There was a time,  When homes were not limited to their boundaries,  and rivers were treated like Goddesses, be it Narmada, or Godavari.  When children were considered truthful & pure,  and mother's love was the ultimate cure. When there was greenery more than roads, and nature was treated as abode. When at night the world used to rest, and the young adults weren't depressed. When women used to walk around careless, and nothing was ever such a mess. When people respected each other, and there was no bias on caste or colour. When people followed their passion, and following traditions was not fashion. When art was considered sacred, and there was never so much hatred. When there were more humans than people, and summers were filled with the singing beetles. There was a time, When everything was peaceful,  Yes it once existed, now in our memories, we cherish. Just for a day, I want that time back, so that the memories do not perish... ~ Guni
